Week 15, 2020 - Happy MCO Easter?

Because the numbers keep going up, the gahmen added another freaking 2 weeks to the MCO/quarantine/lockdown/etc. More roads are getting closed, RM1000 fines for violators... It's also Easter this weekend, so a lot of people are attending Easter service from home?

  • It's times like this it's a good thing there's no shortage of grocery and dining options within the 10km radius from the house?
  • Domino's introduced a durian lava cake with "real D24 durian flesh". Where are they getting durians in this pandemic ah....?
  • You bet your ass I qualified for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat - cos I'm a poor MOFO who's filed their taxes.
  • Spent a couple of days getting stuff together to apply for SOCSO's wage subsidy program, which wasn't too bad cos I had soft copies of some of the supporting documents anyway. Filling out the online form was kinda tedious because had to make sure it was correct before hitting "submit". The site was overwhelmed the first couple of days, but should be okay by now? I just checked the website - while you can still submit applications, but they took down the application status check already.
  • Hit both knees going up the stairs to the office - bruised with a cut on the right knee.
  • My flu from before the MCO has (perhaps) evolved to a sinus infection...? I know it's a sinus issue cos the entire right side of my head hurts like a MOFO. So had to (finally) go to the clinic that accepts credit card payment cos I figured it wasn't going to be a cheap trip - was prescribed 5 days worth of antibiotics, couple of nasal sprays, and antihistamines (day and night).
  • Because of old peepur forwarding nonsense to each other and their family groups, WhatsApp is limiting forwarding to ONE contact at a time.
  • Got the F&N bottled teh tarik (RM9.90 for pack of 4, so I got 2) I ordered last week, yay. Tastes pretty good, all things considered.
  • Because the Ramadan bazaars are effectively cancelled, they now have to go online to sell their wares. If you thought bazaar food was expensive before...
