Took a self-declared 4-day weekend (Thursday being Thaipusam); partly because I got so much accumulated leave and partly just because I can and I realised that I can never not work on the birthday unless it's a public holiday.
After a bunch of complaints, gahmen agreed to let eateries operate until 10 p.m.... except the mall-based ones which are still supposed to close at 8 p.m. Oy vey.
- An FB friend might have gotten cancelled for something they posted that could be construed as erm, racist...? (Didn't know it went viral cos I saw it pretty early on; a couple of local news content farms that picked up the story; the comments were brutal - they even found family pics and LinkedIn profile)
