After waiting for what seems to be forever, I had to carve out a few hours (and I do mean a FEW HOURS - it was over 2 hours long) to watch Daniel Craig's last rodeo as Bond (I also can't believe that it's been FIFTEEN DAMN YEARS since he started). Found a screening near me that's not after 9 p.m. cos I only left the cinema after 11.30 p.m..
- I dunno how kid Madeleine survived the home invasion on her own in the cold open, but yikes.
- That first action sequence is really no joke. Cool, but also really no joke, especially the J-turn at the end.
- Have to like how Bond calls M "Mallory"... to annoy him?
- No wonder Lashana Lynch's involvement in this was so hush-hush. I mean, we all know she was also gonna be 007, so ya.
- You have to feel bad that he always kena attack before he even had a chance to breakfast. Hangry Bond?
- Kinda glad that Ana De Armas's Paloma survived her time with Bond... dunno if we'll ever see the character again, though. Got the right dress for the job.
- Wah lau, Jeffrey Wright came back as Felix Leiter only to die. Haiyaa.
- I'll admit that I've not seen Fleabag, but I think you can tell where Phoebe Waller-Bridge has punched up the screenplay as you watch this..
- I don't think it's a coincidence that Rami Malek's character's first name is Lyutsifer (yes, sounds like Lucifer. anak syaitan betul lol).. he's got the crazy eyes of a Bond villain, if nothing else.
- I'm sorry, but there's no way you can expect me to believe Rami Malek's character is THAT much older than Lea Seydoux's character that the former almost killed the latter AS A CHILD AH. At best they look similar in age.
- Props to the casting department for finding a child with those similarly striking blue eyes.
