Week 23, 2022 - New month, halfway through the year

3 day weekend, today being Agong's birthday and tomorrow (Monday) being the replacement.

It's also Memorial Day weekend in America, so the talk shows are on hiatus this week. On top of it being the end of the American TV season, I'm down to watching the shows I've put off watching just for this reason - just finished the last few episodes of FBI: International and will get round to The Equalizer at some point.
  • There's a (slim?) chance that Magnum P.I. might have a new home, either at NBC (doesn't really fit with the rest of the lineup, unless it went to Peacock?) or USA Network (wait, it's still around?!). Personally if it went to the cable network, it might get more gritty/profane? Which I would be fine with, but people might not watch cos they don't have basic cable or whatever. I hope it's still gonna be in Hawai'i though.
  • Finally checked out the MPH Distributors sale in Balakong, which is not that much further if you've been going to Mines for the BBW Books annual sale in the before-times. Books in the distributors sale are usually less beat up than those at regular warehouse sales, but the prices aren't dirt cheap either, so...ymmv. Also don't relish going there during the work week because it's in the industrial area (similar to when it was in PJ), what with all the heavy vehicles, etc.
  • Dragon Boat festival was on Friday.
  • Bobbi Brown (the makeup artist) has a new line called Jones Road.
  • This weekend tak jadi kutip the repaired umbrellas at the OUG morning market (apparently the fler blew a tyre, so didn't make it); guess next week I'll have to text the guy to find out if he's actually there before dragging myself across town again.
