Long weekend and I'm under the weather to do much about that except rest? Which is easier said than done because the old friend rhinosinusitis is back again, which I can tell you now, is WAY MORE ANNOYING than whatever variant of covid I (supposedly) tested positive for earlier. Feeling slightly warm, sore throat, cough, anosmia, congestion, the works. And of course the period also decided to join the party, so every time I cough, blood is gushing. Oy vey.
Weather? Still hot as balls.
- Another Japanese bookstore chain opened this week, so everyone's so semangat to go? Eh? It's probably people who are in it for the 'gram. I dunno lah, probably will take me a while before I finally bother to go there.
- Probably not the best idea to go to Kuantan when you're under the weather. Came back worse for wear. Should be more glad that didn't have to go there this weekend cos the East Coast highway be congested AF.
- Apparently some person misused the Crackhouse's open mic night (? I admit, I didn't know about this and hadn't come across the so-called "viral" video) for the soc med clout(?), threats were made online against the club (even though it's not their fault; they shouldn't have to screen people's material before they go on stage), police reports were made against the perpetrator.
While the person is finally apprehended, but her 3 day tahan reman is a slap on the wrist compared to the club's suspension from DBKL for having the platform (or pallet stage, as it is LOL). I dunno if it's temporary or permanent, but I sincerely hope it's not the latter. A number of comics have released their solidarity statements, even Harith Iskander, who one can say is a rival comedy club owner.
