Kinda surprised I saw 17 movies this past year. As I go down the list, it's mostly a lot more of the smaller, kinda indie(ish) movies without the big marketing budgets other than word of mouth. Sadly no free tickets to any of these, but saw a lot of them on weekend mornings cos I'm cheap, and I don't really want to watch anything over 2 hours on a weeknight by myself if I can help it.
- She Said
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
- Black Adam
- Amsterdam
- See How They Run
- Three Thousand Years of Longing
- Thor: Love and Thunder
- Bullet Train
- Spilt Gravy on Rice
- Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness - horror flick disguised as a Marvel movie LOL
- Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
- The Batman
- Blacklight
- Death on the Nile
- The Wrath of Man - I know this one came out in 2021, but not my fault we only got this in 2022
- The French Dispatch
- The King's Man
I think my favourite movie I saw in the cinema this year, besides the long awaited Spilt Gravy, was The French Dispatch.
