Week 23, 2023

Short work week cos of Agong's birthday on Monday. 

Took half day off on Wednesday to go to Pav Bukit Jalil to check out both The World of Tim Burton pop up exhibition and also the L'Occitane Hotel (which is just a huge marketing exercise, but a fun one nonetheless) cos I too lazy and cheap to go on a weekend. Need to find a way to use up the other half day sooner than later. 

• I wonder how many people know who Jocelyn Chia was before the viral Tiktok video; I bet 99.9% of the bawang army didn't (I haven't seen the video, I only it saw go by in passing; now I want to see how long I can go without watching it). As if that's not enough, now they are also going after Jason Leong for liking the bit on IG or something. I dunno if they've been doxxed yet at this point, but they memang live on ragebait la, so I dunno. Singapore gahmen were also way too quick to cover their butt by NOT claiming her - "err she not Singaporean anymore". Claim la, why dun want done claim?
• Took Batik Air long enough to bring back the Subang-Kuantan route. 
• Last time got topless muscly Chinese durian seller, now got Malay one making the rounds online. So much so the religious flers are telling the guy to knock it off. Sounds like they jeles to me.
• I'd be amazed if anyone other than Buddha actually won season 20 of Top Chef/World All Stars, but dude's been pretty solid throughout. (Or still pretty sharp from having won the previous season, unlike the other finalists who were at least a few years out). Dude probably has contingency plans for Last Chance Kitchen too if he had been booted.
