Guess the monsoon season started a little earlier than usual, cos we're now in the thick of it?
- The glorified summer camp (with guns) aka Malaysian NS is back with a vengeance, apparently if you're between 16 and 35, it could happen to you. I dunno how you gonna get time off school or work to go, but I would hate to be the boss that would have to let the staff go for NS for 45 day paid leave, cos you know you can't let them do it on unpaid leave.
- Because it's November and this is not the Philippines, Starbucks holiday drinks season has started this week.
- Speaking of monopolies, apparently Grab could also acquire Foodpanda soon? Whut?! What nonsense is this?!
- Didn't know garden leave was even a thing...
- CBS has announced the host taking over for the post-Colbert slot after The Late Show this week; possibly the youngest female late night host in recent memory.
- Finally checked out the one of the newer comedy shows Saturday night.
- The Blue Man Group (at least one of the many troupes globally, definitely not the originators) will be in Singapore for a short spell next year. Argh.
