Doing this as the fireworks for bai tee kong is going off every where.
This is getting to be a running theme, but I also forgot that Madame Web is also already out after hearing about the hype for what seemed like forever now. (Didn't help that the ladies in this movie were dressed in spiderweb-themed slinky numbers for the press tour, but that's neither here nor there).
But this is probably the only Sony Spidey-adjacent universe movie I've ever seen, cos I can't say I cared enough to watch the Venom or Morbius movies. But I enjoy Dakota Johnson as a person and the way she does press for the stuff she's in, so I gotta see this.
Guess can say this is an origin story of sorts.

- Yup, there were definitely a lot of 2003 references, but I'm pretty sure Cranberries' Dreams came out long before Britney's Toxic.
- Got the feeling that Dakota Johnson was a bit du lan about having to promote this, because rumour has it was that she signed up for a different script...?
I don't hate it, but I'm also kinda glad that this is only a bit over 90 minutes long, because I don't think a longer run time would help.
