Finally found the time to catch the latest Jason Statham January movie release, The Beekeeper, after what seemed like WEEKS since the local release. Hilariously enough, there was a morning screening at Paradigm, of all places. Guess I wasn't the only one who hadn't had time to watch it before (or didn't want to watch the CNY releases or whatever), because there were way more people in the room watching this than expected.
It's basically him John Wick-ing his way up to the top in order to avenge his neighbour who took their own life after getting caught in a phishing scam.
- I dunno how they got everyone to sign on for this, but wtf.
- Some people punya glorified cameo ah...
- So many f-bombs LOL I can't even
- Either they have multiple suits or what, but I wanna know how his final suit still ok despite fighting his way through everyone, practically.
What I always say about Liam Neeson movies can also apply to Statham movies, so I'll try not to repeat myself.
If you're okay with watching a Statham movie... I guess it's boleh la.
