Dragged my tired ass to watch Deadpool & Wolverine at the second home GSC. Also wanted to find out how to use the newest credit card's GSC offers, so today I learnt something new on that front.
I don't know how they kept things under wraps, AND I really wasn't expecting this many cameos...? Holy shit balls.
- That first fight scene/title credit sequence brought so much joy to my inner 90s teen, I was miming along and dancing a little in my seat to the song LOL. If Ryan Reynolds can also dance... too much already lah.*
Since I haven't rewatched those first X-Men and other FOX Marvel movies and all that since they came out, I know I missed a lot of references. But it was hard to miss Ray Park's Toad LOL
I don't hate the jokes and the references, but I thought it was a touch too long and one too many gratuitous fight scenes? IDK.
Fun watch, regardless, but I'll probably have to watch it again to catch the faded out language..
If you grew up in the 90s and have seen the FOX Marvel movies... you might enjoy this.
*PS. Apparently it was a double, who had to learn the dance on short notice for the audition. Props to that guy, cos *NSYNC had more time LOL
