It's been five months since I was last at the movies, and this is possibly the last movie I watch this calendar year. Went in wondering if I'll enjoy it as much as I did Madame Web, but we all get to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson's very real abs (as featured in some of the posters and what not).
In spite of everything that went down recently, there was still a morning screening happening at the second home GSC. Finally managed to get the free popcorn set, but not the RM10 off the ticket price. Oh wells. It's been awhile since I last had movie theatre popcorn, and I still had at least half the box left.
I guess due to the R-rating, not too many kids were there, which is a relief, cos damn, it gory AF.
Honestly I don't understand why Sony bother to make these movies with the Spidey villains, other than losing the Spider-Man rights if they don't make anything of it. (you can look up why there's a new Spider-Man reboot every x-number of years). Just as well though, because apparently they're not gonna bother with this universe any more after this one, which must SUCK for everyone involved.
Also, don't get me started on how the symbiote got THREE movies ah...
- I've officially lost count of how many of these movies Russell Crowe has been in where he has to do ACCENT work LOL
- Same goes with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. That said, props to the guy for doing these roles at his age now while he still can do them?
If you want an escape, it's okay, I suppose.
