NGL, I was surprised that I liked the first movie when it first came out; and I say this as someone who doesn't go out of their way to watch anything Ben Affleck is in.
Had a lot to do this day, so I sucked it up and paid for mall parking to catch the Saturday morning screening of The Accountant 2.
Going back to this world again pretty much cold (hadn't seen the first movie since it came out in the cinemas and it was years ago), and have kind of forgotten who the rest of the characters were. But yeah, it's probably the second time I've seen Jon Bernthal in a movie this past month, but that guy has come a long way since the first movie too.
Now that this is a MGM Amazon Studio movie, the brand and product placement in this is kinda cringe. I'm just surprised there's no blatant QR codes on the screen for Amazon product affiliate links or whatever.
- I dunno if JK Simmons did his own fighting, but it was mighty convincing.
- Kinda not surprised that he would game the speed dating event to his benefit LOL
- Harbor being the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters for this universe cracks me up.
Besides that, I don't hate this one too and apparently they're making this a trilogy.
