Women want the toilet seats down because they need it as they don't do their business standing up. Well they COULD pee standing up - but I don't think it's possible to crap standing up. Men OR women.
Guys put the toilet seat up because they don't need it, except to make a "huge deposit".
Personally I don't give a rat's ass about whether it should be left up or down - if it's up, I'll put it down. 'Nuff said.
