Chinese New Year eve tomorrow.
Company lunch (not dinner) today at the King Crab restaurant near the LRT station. The people that can't partake (the muslims and vegetarian) in the meal adjourned to Marco's Pizza up the street. Decided to join the latter group because I was pretty sick of the standard Chinese 8 course meal already and I needed to consume all the non-Chinese food that I can while I still can.
Shared two pizzas and too much dessert. The PM's niece joined us - I have no idea why. But what they hey, as long as WE'RE not paying. I also finally tried a crème brûlée and I don't need to have it anytime soon.
There were whispers of half day today, but nothing was set in stone. After lunch and back in the office again, Everyone left at different times as when their own supervisors gives the green light. I finally left the office at about 5 something after mine finally let me go. (I was apprehensive about leaving as it might come back and bite me in the ass in the future).
