Google is so pervasive in one's online experience, here's how much of a presence Google is in my own life...
1. Gmail
Don't lie to yourself if you say you only have and use one. I've got three: one I hardly use, another my first (and mostly primary) account that I had for a few years from before Gmail was made available to the public. With the 20MB attachments, I also use it to store my mp3s (which I email to another account just because), when and if I remember to do so. Because it's 6GB of space and counting, I use Gmail for my various email subscriptions. The third one I've got for the heck of it and one I use as a blogger; mail here gets routed to the primary. And speaking of blogging...
2. Who DOESN'T have a blog on Blogger? I've had this one for over 4 years. The thought of migrating to another blog service sounds pretty nice at times, but for the most part I can't be arsed to do it. Come on, it's four years of stuff... Plus, I have no idea how to do it as cleanly as possible. And just about every other blog that I visit is on Blogger: leaving comments is easier than on Xanga - you don't really need a Google account and you don't have to use Blogger's blog comments; one can also install other commenting services.
3. Google is also my default search engine for so long I don't know how long it's been. Having Google toolbar in the browser window makes life so easy.
4. Google is also a verb: "How to make nasi lemak? Google only lah!"
5. I have an (American Apparel) Google tee shirt that I got from the Google store when I was in America (free shipping mah). If they sold jeans I'd probably get it just because I could, haha.
6. I got an Orkut account that I hardly use.
Damn you Sergei and Brin.
