My Weekend So Far...

Shopped like no one's business so far this weekend: finally bought myself a signature French Connection tee shirt (after all these years, albeit a guy's Large) Friday night in 1U (had less than a couple of hours to shop and I was cursing and swearing in the parking lot, much to my cousin's amusement).

Saturday - The Gardens today. Drove over there with cousin and her mum, also with not much time to spare. We split with auntie once we got up to Isetan. Didn't take me too long to find parking today as we were directed RIGHT down to the bottom of the parking lot. I finally found and bought a pair of the under-RM200 dark coloured, boot cut jeans from Gap that's more importantly, IN MY SIZE. Am currently also a Gap member because cousin also bought a pair of RM300 over jeans which qualified for the membership (usually have to spend RM700, but for this weekend only it's RM300). One of the membership perks is the 20% discount and RM30 off any pair of jeans, so... heh heh heh. I saved myself nearly RM50, haha. Ran into auntie again and we all left together (thankfully auntie paid the RM3 parking). Drove back in this horrendous rain storm with really crappy visibility on the road. I was really glad that nothing serious happened.

Also went out to dinner at Pantai with mum's cousin and his family. Nice to see them again - and I finally got my second cousin's number after all this time. All the dishes were served and we were done eating in a little more than an hour.

Birthday haul at this point: 2GB Ultra SD card from bro, In Rainbows CD from cousin (HMV in Singapore), Radiohead tee shirt from someone else. Can't complain.
