Finally gone and tried a session of the Depilux Hair Free System at the Bella Skin Care branch at Damansara Utama. I couldn't remember when the appointment was exactly and I couldn't go on living with hairy pits, so I rescheduled it for noon today. Even then I wasn't too sure, so I went on ahead and they brought me to one of the treatment rooms.
There was NO way that one can tell that there were so many tiny rooms from outside. But I got ushered into one and I was asked to remove my tee shirt and change into this loose err... (for lack of better word) frock and lie down. I also had to don blue goggles for this.
Technician then proceeded to shave my pits, apply some gel, and then with the pulsing light, make quick work of them and before I knew it, it was over. The pain was negligible and there's the smell of singed hair.... She didn't even bother putting on goggles herself - she was closing her eyes with every hit. It really was that quick - but for RM500, I expected more bang for my bucks.
I remember there were some pantang larangs after that, but I couldn't remember them all. Oh well.
