I am currently watching this week's episode of AI (American Idol) because of the theme of Lennon/McCartney tunes (pay tribute, konon) about a day later from the Astro "live" broadcast and about the same time as the rest of Malaysia. Doesn't matter - I'm not really a big fan of AI-type singing competition shows anyway. But I'm still a sucker for the Beatles. And they're using the Beatles to kick off the new AI stage. Whoop dee doo.
I didn't really recognise the first few songs until the guy with the 'dreads did his bleayuck version of If I Fell. The sped-up country version of Eight Days a Week also blew like nuts - sounded like an Alvin and the Chipmunks version.
I really don't have much else to watch: I've already seen the latest George Carlin HBO special (It's Bad for Ya), America's Next Top Model and South Park.
