My Apanama Ipanemas

My life's been pretty slow lately, so there's not much to talk about. But here's something to tide you stalkers and voyeurs while I decide whether or not to release the drafts that I've already done in my spare time.

Bought myself a pair of Ipanema anatomica flip flops (or slippers, pick your choice term). They are what they are because they're supposedly made from recyclable materials and (supposedly) suitable for vegetarians (a point which eludes me, frankly).

At first I thought of buying a pair from the latest g2b H2O collection designed by Gisele Bundchen (for charity), but paying RM49.90 for a pair of slippers (after all) was a little too much for this cheapskate. But I like the print ads - check them out here. So I settled for another pair that was only under RM35 after 10% discount : P

A similar-looking pair (athens) from Crocs cost 2-3 times what I paid for these and they're uglier.

And yes, I really needed a pair of flip-flops - only realised that after a couple of years and months and months of rain. They're also a part of my self-prescribed colour therapy (ha ha), and I don't think my mum would wear them out as we're the same shoe size and all.

I also got some other stuff on my shopping list (which makes it a first time that I completed a shopping list without carrying any items forward).
