May 13th, 1969 was a dark day in Malaysia history.

39 years to the day, today is also a dark day (of sorts) for me also, for the most part because...
  1. I can't be at the James Blunt gig in Singapore,

  2. An unexpected visit from Aunt Flo, AND...

  3. I got my first summon (or parking ticket) of the year - which I have no problems (or objections) paying because I'm already saving quite a bit NOT paying parking daily.
