Started on Ben Elton's latest novel, Blind Faith this week.
It's of dystopian nature - a mix of A Clockwork Orange and 1984.
Set in the distant future in London, where privacy's against the law, modesty's not approved of and everything about everyone's life is online. It's the worst case scenario that's already happened - global warming, loss of decency and privacy, the works. A world I wouldn't want to live in, at any rate.
I think Mr Elton's had loads of fun thinking up all the names of the characters (Caitlin Happymeal, Princess Lovebud), as they're pretty hilarious.
