Old Facebook/New Facebook

Facebook has had its new façade for a few months now - and like Vista (which is another post), I get the feeling that it's poorly received by the public (as far as I can tell from the feeds and groups formed...).

I know a lot of people are used to the old version, but the only thing I hated about the old look was the cluttered profiles from the (seemingly) hundreds of applications that people would indiscrimately add on (by the way, you can tweak so that you don't have to have them all there - mine is relatively clutter-free *smug*). YOU try looking for the Wall on some of these profiles - it's headache inducing, I tell you.

In the new version of Facebook, application boxes are placed under a profile tab called "Boxes" (DUH), like your Zombie and Vampire apps and what not. Just because everything is NOT in one place, it's no reason to hate it - if you spend a lot of time on Facebook, you have the time to click around.

I have to admit, it takes some getting used to and is a little sluggish (it is), but I don't hate it as much because we'll eventually have to get used to the new interface in the end. If they haven't given the Facebook people feedback about the new look (look for the link on the top right corner of the site), they shouldn't bitch about it. I do have one question though: does forming the "anti-new Facebook" groups really make a difference?
