So I got round to finishing The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (if you must ask how, I will have to kill you) last week, just because I wanted to see what the fuss is about.
I didn't read every word printed, but the gist was there: as long as you think and believe it, it will come to you. Affirmations and all that also come to mind.
So's the placebo effect, okay.
As a former psych student, I'm not sure if I want to believe or attribute some of the isolated incidents to this Law of Attraction thing, but I give them props for the slick packaging of both book and movie. Great marketing, I tell you.
But I still wouldn't pay RM70 for it. I'm not that crazy.
