Disturb me during those hours if you don't value your life because we don't have the new Astro decoder/DVR (which I would use to record probably most of the talk shows I'd be missing during the day). And no, I can't catch up via YouTube or with torrents because NBC's pretty fast with these things and they get taken down.
He's got the same staff, band, writers...even former sidekick Andy Richter came back in the announcer capacity/sidekick (I guess because the rest of the stuff he was in after he left the last time didn't pan out; I think he's typecast for life). Even the theme tune's the same as the old one, which anyone could make an honest mistake of thinking Conan was still doing the old show on a new set on the other side of the country, ha. The new set is pretty and spacious though - so much so that they "allegedly" stole the letter "D" from the Hollywood sign and wheeled it through the studio... only to bust it on the way out.
There's still taped bits and in-studio sketches, some of them updated like those In the Year 3000 (previously 2000) sketches. There's also new ones to keep up with the times, like the Twitter Tracker sketch.
During the day, it's only Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesday shows are usually shown in the night shift.
Then again, I am a talk show junkie, so take it with a pinch of salt.
But I can say is that if you liked his Late Night show, you might like this.
