Week 36, 2009 - Firefox trouble and whatever else.

• Had to reinstall Firefox cos it had been crashing a little too much lately after the sibling reformatted my laptop for me over the long weekend. Not sure if it was the actual browser's problem (which other people have complained about) or the extensions, but I can't be arsed to disable them one at a time to find out. Even after clean installing (as in even clearing out the customizations and stuff), it's still a little wonky. Urgh. Some more I have to reinstall all those things... Oy vey.
  
  
• Chrome is acting up - or the internet connection is: the YouTube videos aren't loading as fast as it used to.
  
  
• New iPod announcements by Apple this week. At least I didn't wait to buy the fifth generation iPod nano or what - I've no issues with my current one to want to upgrade or anything.
  
  
• iTunes download file size gets bigger every time - iTunes 9 is 95.87 MB (seriously - it's almost 1GB!). And all that for features I don't use or can't use because I'm not in America. Phooey. At least the look's changed a little bit and there are features I could use. But otherwise... hmm.
  
  
• Read the last Twilight book, Breaking Dawn. I've said my piece about the series, so I won't repeat myself.
  
  
• Star World is showing latest episodes of Letterman the day after US broadcast (like AXN with The Amazing Race) - woo hoo! Had to check and I couldn't believe it.
  
  
• Catch up session with friend Ivan at the new Old Town in Megah Saturday night.
  
  
• Trying Clinique's Post Blemish Formula which (I've been told) is for acne scars (my big bane in life). Claim was that new scars would lighten in days while older ones, weeks. Typical enough claim. RM70 for a click pen. A bit much for so little, but a person's got to try, right? Online reviews for this product was mixed - seems to be really on a case by case basis.
