Made it Jaya One with some time left on the clock. Sadly this time had to pay parking inside cos couldn't find any outside... (the cheapskates would know where I'm referring to). But it's RM2 per entry after 5 or 6 p.m., so it's not as cekik darah as BSC. In the mad rush, I forgot my Coffee Bean card so I got the 10% ticketholder's discount for my hot choc (which had improved since I last had one, but no marshmallows :( ), but I couldn't collect the points. Sheesh. I also couldn't bring my hot, SEALED drink in, but later I saw a guy walking out with a huge ass Wendy's cup. Hmph. Guess who had to rush-drink a piping hot cup of hot chocolate before they could get seated.
Not a full house tonight, so while I could choose a seat, but I ended up in a seat where my feet are still freezing because I was in the flow of the AC. Gah. Those boots would come in SO handy... or my Thinsulated Daria boots. Hmm.
About the show - as usual, started about 10 minutes to 9 p.m. and Jenhan did his 10, 15 minute set. Some of it I had heard before, but otherwise I thought the set was a killer.
Harith came on and (thankfully) no half hour bit about Amber Chia, but he did a 10 minute bit (approximately) about Facebook and his 5,000 Facebook friends out of which he knows 12 of (Tip: Create an official Facebook Fan Page). He also announced that he's ending his single days - good for him - and I won't go on too much about his set, but for once he killed. The guy also had his mother and friends in the audience, whom howled and screamed from the back of the room.
All in all, I think I got my money's worth and I didn't hear too much recycled material.
Tickets for Thursday and Sunday are RM45.50 (plus the RM2.50 ticketing price) whilst Friday and Saturday tickets are going for RM55.50. (Saw that tickets for Friday's sold out - try another day).
I recommend it... really.
