So I got this phone call today from a "private number" (which means that you can't see the actual phone number). I am notorious for missing calls because my phone's on silent during the day and I don't carry it around in my pocket like some people. But because I was pretty much seated at my desk, I noticed the phone lighting up and vibrating in the drawer, I answered and on comes this weirdo reads this script (obviously) which basically says that I won RM 7,000 in some "lucky draw" organised by Celcom and that the bahger wanted my bank account number that they could bank in the money.
First of all - If I had indeed won this sum of money, any company worth their salt would send out a letter.
Second of all - Since when does Celcom ever have a lucky draw with this much money at stake?
Third of all - Why RM7,000? Why not five or ten?
There were so many things that I wanted to ask to stump the fler, but I didn't feel like messing with the guy. By that point, it was just easier for me to kill the call and be done with it.
