- Starbucks happy hour from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on weekdays this past week and the next with half-priced Frappucinos, which is good for the baristas because if it was also on the weekends, they'd be swamped.
- It also took Starbucks Malaysia long enough to sell the domed cold cup with the new logo, but I would rather just have the domed cold cup lid instead.
I'm pretty ambivalent about getting it as I've gone no-whip with my Frappucinos for awhile now for obvious reasons and I probably only have whip on my drinks about 10% of the time.I got the damn thing and also the free frapp (low fat Dark Mocha). Low-fat Frappucinos FTW. - Received the rest of my Better World Books sweepstakes prize in the mail.
- Bought my first physical CD of the year (and decade): Radiohead's The King of Limbs for RM50 at the local Victoria Music Station (RP was RM55.90, cheaper than the local price of In Rainbows :P). They always have a few units at a lower price for some reason, and I like them for that. I hope never to find out how much it is in HMV Singapore because I know it'll just KILL me.
- One of the old professors from Bemidji (who was also my academic advisor when I was there) is in town for a few days. Met her for dinner at Madam Kwan's with some of the other former students who could make it.
- I was one of the suckers who was home watching the royal wedding Friday evening (Malaysian time).
- Mum's on a roadtrip back to the East Coast with some of her siblings for the long weekend.
