Snuck out early before lunch to meet friend Liyana for lunch at the second home - she was running late because she left classes a little late and as I found out later, a broken arm that would make it a little difficult to drive. Well, I was in line for bubble tea at Come Buy when she finally called to say she got there. Finally had lunch in Food Republic (which I wasn't terribly sure if it was halal or not, if it wasn't... oops) and went over to Uniqlo (as I specified that I wanted to eat before we go over there).
Going in... Wasn't crazy enough to go so early in the morning (like my mum did, but not specifically for that) or even during actual lunch hour, where they had velvet rope and they were doing crowd control. (If you've seen the picture posted on Facebook, you know what I mean). So by the time we were there after lunch, we were in a short queue and was inside in literally no time at all.
I didn't go because I wanted to buy any of the opening specials (not much for me, personally) but I saw some stuff there I could hold off until later, if I wanted to.
In case anyone was wondering....
- Ground floor is for the ladies, top floor is for the men.
- Lines are a little slow when checking out, but the cashiers are working as fast as they could, so it didn't look too bad.
- No J+ collection here
- Umbrellas (both long and small folding ones) were going for RM24.90. SO tempted to get one...
- People going crazy over the RM9.90 men's tee shirt.
