Someone I knew was pestering me about when this dessert place was opening - it certainly wasn't open yet when I was there Sunday evening. What I didn't expect was for them to open on the following Monday. I know, right?
Anyway, did some googling and all I know is that you'll see this dessert chain all over Hong Kong. I could've sworn I've seen Anthony Bourdain downing various mango drinks on one of his shows... *more googling* yep, it was on The Layover.
Unlike the standing room kiosks in Hong Kong, the one here has a seated area for people to enjoy their desserts. Was also told that prices here are cheaper than in HK. So... yay, us?
I ordered a Mango Icy Sago (RM9.90) which wasn't bad, it was edible. Only downer was that they're already charging service and government tax a few days of opening. Ish.
That wouldn't exactly stop me from trying out their other items in the future.
