The 'rents are in China at the moment, due back on Monday (or was it Tuesday?). Meanwhile, I've been planning my trip down south to Singapore in the coming weekend - getting my packing list together, etc.
Weather-wise, still hazy in these parts but at least better than other places. Great laundry weather than people weather.
- Bought a ticket to the Sigur Ros concert happening at Fort Canning Park, Singapore in November. Not sure if it's too kiasu to be arranging accommodation and travel arrangements now when I haven't exactly collected the actual ticket (from SISTIC agents) yet. It's not easy finding a reasonably priced single person room that's NOT in Geylang. Any (reasonable) recommendations?
- Found out that I won the grand prize in a Star eCentral contest - new James Morrison CD and a mug (allegedly) signed by him. I had to collect the lot in person at Menara Star because of the mug. Saw that the CD was just the Asian edition (whatever the heck that means) and the mug is not all that cute. Can't help but think that I only won because I'm close enough to be able to come collect myself.
- It's amazing how long a pot of beef (well okay, it's minced buffalo) ragu can last - it's only the second consecutive dinner and there's enough for about 2 - 3 more meals?
- Saturday was Dragon Boat Festival.
- Also woke way too early Saturday morning for mugs. I know.
