If you're reading this, I'm actually not in town, which is why it's a little scant. If you haven't left town, I hope you had a nice long Merdeka weekend anyway.

- MPH Distributors warehouse sale next weekend - whee!
- I finally found out how one becomes a commissioner of (for?) oaths - apparently it involves an exam and an interview, and most people fail the interview portion (so I heard).
- Ailing grandaunt in Kota Bharu has finally passed on this week. Mum couldn't attend the funeral because of the trip. At least the (second) cousin who's been caring for her for a while now can move on some.
