Saw Lincoln in the cinema. Because it's a weekday afternoon, it wasn't totally packed, so I snucked onto a double seat and stayed there, haha. Just as well, because it was over 2 hours long and seating on a usual cinema seat was quite a stretch.
Performances all around was alright: James Spader as Bilbo (the "agent" working behind the scenes to catch the votes) was like the Alan Shore of the 1800s - it was hilarious.
If you're not familiar with former US president Abraham Lincoln and what he did back then and American politics, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you've seen this, you might get why it got all that acclaim.
