Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock (AMAH)

(This was some weeks ago - I finally got the wind to write it down).

I was feeling peckish (didn't eat much earlier) on the way back from the airport after sending the 'rents off one too-early morning and since I was on the way home, I decided to stop by Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock for an early lunch. If I'm not wrong, it's by the same people behind Tom, Dick and Harry's (pub).

Parking in the area was free (until further notice), and had to park a little further than usual. Oh well. It's also a couple doors down from Mr and Ms, the happening brunch place.

Because I was there before the lunch rush, it was still mostly empty save for a few occupied tables.

Someone attended to me pretty quickly and ordered the nasi lemak with the ayam goreng berempah because I had heard that it was good. At least I didn't have to wait too long for them to put the thing together.

Not the best food porn, but what the heck - hungry mah.
Rice and chicken all were okay, sambal was not liquid enough for me. Can't remember if the sambal was racist or not (it's a thing I came up with the sibling - it's a way of describing something that should be spicy or whatever that's not because (allegedly) Chinese people prefer sweet over spicy sambal and what not; usually used when describing nasi lemak sambal).

Not the cheapest plate of nasi lemak with fried chicken at nearly RM10, but worth ordering at least once. Some people have compared it to Village Park's signature dish, which is not a bad comparison to make I guess, but.. *shrug*
