Star Wars: The Last Jedi (spoilery)

The only thing I hate about watching movies on the weekends are the families with young children. But since it's 2.5 hours, going on a weeknight is just... urgh. 

Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, this might count as spoilers, so you've been warned.

• Kylo is still emo-sial Ren... being emo runs in the family and was his grandfather's downfall. #justsaying
• Not enough porg (basically the Star Wars version of puffins) action. But that won't stop Disney from cashing in on the merchandising opportunities. But what about the crystal fox like creatures, though?
• BB-8 - still pretty amusing, considering R2 was out of the action in this movie. 
• I wonder how much long was Lupita on set for.
• Kinda glad that Rey is basically some Force sensitive rando and not related to anyone else. That one I got right. But to be fair, aren't most of the Jedi order just randos that can harness the Force? Even Leia has the Force in her too, for her to survive being in space after her ship got blasted to smithereens. 
• The Resistance had a chain of command?
• Laura Dern's character is pretty badass. 
• Kinda nice to see puppet Yoda again. 
• I dunno how they're gonna write Carrie Fisher out in the next movie, but it's gonna be interesting. There's also a lot more Billie Lourd on screen this time round. 
• Of course it was Force projection Luke fighting his nephew - the clues were pretty obvious when you think about it. 

I thought it was just liddat only lah. Did anyone else thought this felt a little like Empire Strikes Back? They could shave some stuff out, but that's just me.
