Week 15, 2018

  • All hell broke loose when Parliament is finally dissolved and a controversial (but not unprecedented) choice of a midweek polling day and date was revealed. Of course they had to announce that that day would be a public holiday the next day or more hell would break loose.
  • And overnight, prices of air tickets skyrocketed. Airlines are waiving rebooking fees left and right. AirAsia set fixed prices on domestic flights (and not the international routes) for a couple of days so people won't be paying through the nose to cast their vote.
  • Then there's people moaning about how it clashes with the Bruno Mars gig on the same day. Er, you know the concert is at night right? I mean, tough la if you're travelling from out of state and all, but those people are SOOL, maybe...?
  • Adam Savage might come back to the Mythbusters franchise... to host a version where kids get to test the myths.
  • The Loaf closely pretty suddenly this past week. Erm, oh well?
