- Tomb sweeping started Thursday, but people have started on those obligations last weekend, myself included.
- Paid respects to both grandfather and great grandmother on Sunday.
- #Rendangate - SEA (at least, the countries where rendang's a thing) has been in uproar ever since Masterchef UK judges said that a contestant (who's originally Malaysian)'s chicken rendang wasn't "crispy" enough. Rendang might not be my jam (haha), but even I know there's no such thing as crispy chicken rendang. I don't know if that had anything to do with her being eliminated, or it's just that there were better dishes that episode. Even diplomats and local brands have joined the backlash, the latter for the publicity.
- Bought a ticket to Margaret Cho's KL gig next month.
- Also got an early bird ticket to Tales from Amma's Kitchen next month.
- OMG I didn't know another season of Iron Chef Gauntlet's started, AND they're bringing back OG Iron Chef America!!!
- Finally serviced the car's airconditioning after several years. Certainly paid for it in the end.
