Week 39, 2018

Yup, still got PND. Probably should go to an ENT next week.

  • Monday was actual Mid Autumn/Mooncake Festival.
  • Saw Johnny English Strikes Again on Monday night.
  • Apparently GrabFood riders went on strike a few days ago because of money. I don't blame them.
  • Malaysia trying to get medical marijuana legalised. I heard that it's technically not haram, so... go for it? I might do edibles, but that's it.
  • Another Taiwanese bubble tea brand I haven't heard of before until this week (Tiger Sugar) is opening in Malaysia soon... I'm guessing we don't know where yet is because they probably haven't secured a location...? Just guessing.
  • I can't believe that Lush is opening on Monday. Haven't heard of any opening promos yet, so no rush getting there just yet. However, am very curious to find out if it's gonna be cheaper or more expensive than Singapore's prices.
  • I got some long sought after (but kinda forgot about) Coldplay singles from a fellow Carousell-er. Got both my work and home addresses mixed up again (road numbers were pretty close), but the Poslaju/postman knew to send it to the office...
  • To the Le Creuset fans: the annual warehouse sale is back on again next week....
  • Got a lot done at the second home on Saturday - got free plant (and seeds), samples...
  • Some college professor is gonna teach a class about the late Anthony Bourdain next year. I wouldn't mind taking it as an audit course (when you just take a class for the shits and giggles), but for credit ah...
  • Of course that orange peel snack we used to eat as kids has high levels of lead
  • Apparently people are upset that Voldemort's snake Nagini is played by a South Korean actress or something to that effect. Those people need to chill the fuck down.
  • I didn't even know Inside the Actor's Studio was still on, let alone James Lipton finally stepping down as host. To be fair, he's closer to 100 than most people thought.
  • I wish I had Times Newer Roman when I was still doing college assignments, but I don't remember if I ever had page limits for them.
