Second night back at the Jenerator, this time to watch Sharul Channa's one woman show called Sharul Channa is a Pottymouth. 

Last year, Sharul Channa was a pottymouth.

This year, Sharul Channa still is a pottymouth.

In LOL Fest 2018, Sharul Channa will take the stage with her brand new one-woman stand-up comedy showcase! Sharul will tackle topics like the psyche of the Asian man, the funny sides of life and death, some stories from her extensive travel, her Indian family, and of course, she will bring back everyone’s favorite “Aunty Sunita”

Come join Sharul in her 2nd Edition of this solo show as she recaps an eventful 2017 and shares her plans for 2018.

The only times I've only ever seen her perform up to this point was as part of a show's lineup. I've missed the last time she was in KL for her previous solo show for some reason or another. Tonight I got there about 10 to 8 p.m. and the show probably started before 8.30 p.m., so it wasn't too shabby.

Even then, people were still coming in about 15 minutes into the actual show... like certain local comics who probably thought the show started at Malaysian 8.30 p.m.. I won't name names.

Anyway, still laughed myself to tears at some parts during the hour long set.

If I previously thought HGH in Sentul was a weird place for comedy show, well... this place is kinda far for that. Great for the tourist foot traffic perhaps, but to drive down specially for? Driving there from PJ already took me about half an hour with some molasses traffic. Some more most of the the more affordable eateries are already closed before 8 p.m., with only a handful left still open which might not be to everyone's taste and/or appetite. And don't get me started on the parking situation - RM5 evening flat rate is considered pretty good already for downtown. But for being there for a couple of hours.... well....
