Been rainy a lot lately, which I'm not sure means that monsoon season is upon us or the cloud seeding for the haze? Are people still complaining about the haze?
This weekend, all anyone could talk about was the newly presented 2020 Budget.
- Education Ministry finally announced the school schedule for next year.
- Apparently they're also gonna discontinue Arts and Science stream segregration next year. I don't know how they're gonna pull that off.
- I suppose it's just as well that I made non-refundable plans to Singapore next week, cos I'm starting to feel a little cuckoo/burnt out at work. But not for long enough for most people's idea of a vacation.
- Which is why next week is my self declared 5 day weekend.
- I dunno why Starbucks Malaysia only (finally) bringing in the PSL this year. I know I didn't ask for it and I'm not the target demo for this, so whatever.
- McDonald's in Singapore had an online/app only promo which comes with a pyjama set. I don't think the overwhelming demand is because people actually want to WEAR them, but to resell.
- Amazon Singapore is up. But nothing interesting (for me) so far.
- Dunno if I'll remember to look for the brown sugar boba egg tart at a KFC in Singapore (feels like there's only ONE KFC on whole of Orchard Road), but if I see it...
- World Post Day was on Wednesday. The local PO had a MILO TRUCK OUTSIDE to give away chilled drinks (not just to customers but the postal employees as well), but also to sell bags of 3-in-1. Only had a couple of the free Milo after getting a couple of FDC for myself. (Surprisingly, some of the regulars were still there despite it being after 10 a.m.)
- They finally announced who the new judges are for the next season of MasterChef Australia, one of them being a former (youngest) winner of the show.
- Mum won a Quaker Oats gift hamper this week. Since she only takes the plain one, she claims what was left in the bag would last her quite a while.
