Week 2, 2020

Pre-CNY hot as balls weather this week.
  • Apparently the movie Knives Out was such a success, they're working on more Benoit Blanc movies. Oy. (Last I checked, it's still playing at KLCC's TGV)
  • It's been (sort of) confirmed that applying Vicks up your nostrils is not a good idea.
  • The people behind Impossible (TM) beef have finally expanded the product line with their version of pork. Kinda begs the question: Halal or not? Wondering when will they come up with Impossible (TM) chicken.
  • Saw Bombshell on Monday.
  • Got both the Sephora birthday gift and the double points last weekend. Redeemed the birthday brow service portion of the gift this week.
  • They've been blasting the news and opening promos about the new Sephora store opening (or relocation?) at Fahrenheit88 next Saturday. My main question is that because the store is outside along the sidewalk on Jalan Bukit Bintang, will people risk heatstroke lining up outside for the goodie bags? Will it block foot traffic? I want to go, but I'm also not crazy kiasu enough to be first in line or whatever. I wonder if Nadia Heng will be emcee...?
  • The whole world was confused when the Sussexes announced their "stepping back" from their senior royal duties this week without letting the queen grandma know beforehand.
  • Apparently that they (for real, this time) will have to close ye olde A&W drive-thru.
  • There's also gonna be a The Nanny musical? Why? At least it won't be a jukebox musical, I would think...?
