So the gahmen made the mistake (? debatable) of announcing ahead a CMCO (conditional movement control order) for Selangor and KL for 2 weeks which started a few days ago cos there are people WHO ARE USING THE ADVANCE NOTICE TO BALIK KAMPUNG AGAIN. WTFBBQ. These people ah - one pandemic dah beberapa kali balik kampung nih? Also, how much annual leave do they have ah? I get schools are closed and the kids are home, but doesn't mean you can pack everyone up to balik kampung! It's one thing to pack the kids off to the country side when there's a war going on, but another when it's a pandemic.
You can't even cross from PJ to KL, let alone leave the state or FT. Also funny to see how many people didn't realise that Taman Tun (despite the proximity to DU) is (technically) KL and are wrapping their heads around it...? But the line has to be drawn someplace lah.
It also means it's back to...
- 2 per household for groceries (no bringing the fambam out with you ah HAHA)
- 2 per car
- 2 per dine-in table (which has since been superceded to dunno-how-many now)
- I won't go on, it's long enough as it is..
- Like the CMCO wasn't enough - there's also a slight disruption in the water supply on Saturday cos some pipe burst or something which should be resolved by the time this is up. Oy vey.
- Finally saw Enola Holmes. Okler, I guess.
- Netflix is nixing the 30 day trials?
- Kinda slow on the TV front cos most of the CBS shows I watch are only starting new seasons next month if not later, but thankfully there's a new (prepandemic) season of The Amazing Race. And all the late night talk shows (except The Daily Show) are on hiatus this week, despite the weird news. Columbus Day can take the whole week off one meh?
- Only just found out that Public Bank is finally converting passbook accounts to online statement accounts... but only if you had online banking. But as of a few days ago, I was still sakai enough to update my passbook at the bank because I happen to be passing by.
- Seriously ah, since when disposable masks also need to be halal-certified one?
- Bon Appetit YouTube channel is up and running again with new videos, introducing more people of colour in the first few uploads.
- Dole now has pink pineapples. Did anyone asked for pink pineapples ah?
- Yahoo! is finally pulling the plug on Y! Groups.
- I dunno if the one here will do it, but apparently IKEA is gonna buy back their furniture that no one wants anymore?
