Week 45, 2020

To no one's surprise, the CMCO has extended yet again... this time for another 4 weeks. Sigh.

I'm out of it because of the anti-histamines I've been taking for this cold/post-nasal drip/whatever and the lack of sleep from that because it gets worse at night. I've lost count of the number of times I'm up in the middle of the night trying not to cough a lung out.

  • We still don't know who the new US President is because some states are still counting the mail-in ballots. There's a lot of projection and conjecture from the news networks, but nothing concrete as of yet. Biden-Harris won; Trump won't graciously concede (what else is new?)...
  • Noticing shuttered businesses is starting to become a new pandemic-era sport for me: some of the Pappa Rich outlets near me have closed.
  • They're introducing menu items using Beyond (TM) plant-based meat substitute at some La Juiceria outlets, the prices cost as much as how much they are in the freezer section?
  • Got a couple of World Post Day local released FDC this week.
  • Budget 2021 was announced this week.
  • RIP Betty Dodson
  • This year's beauty and fragrance holiday offerings are kinda meh, but I usually wait until after the season to see if they go on sale. Infidel perk, I call it.
  • This year, the BBW Book sale is online. Not sure if I'll get anything?
  • Was anyone really surprised that Johnny Depp would be asked to vacate the Grindelwald role after what happened to him IRL? I dunno who they'll replace him with that could stand up to the sexy tension going on with Jude Law's Dumbledore. Maybe they could get Colin Farrell back?
