As I type this, there's fireworks going off cos it's Deepavali weekend. Have a good one (despite the pandemic and the CMCO rulings) if you're celebrating.
In case anyone's wondering - yep, still have the PND. The involuntary coughing is not helping, not especially myself when I'm outside the domicile.
- There's gonna be a standalone Uniqlo store in Bandar Sri Damansara in the works. What's annoying is the toll you'd have to pay to go to there.
- Am kinda glad that the NCIS franchise is starting again this week, even if it's the spinoff shows. And only one of them had new norm norms written in.
- Realised that I had a Fave voucher I can't redeem due to the CMCO no crossing districts rule. Because I bought the thing awhile ago, the best they could do for me was refund me in Fave credits. Sigh.
- I guess they're now getting Mads Mikkelsen to play Grindelwald? Not confirmed, but he's as qualified to play a baddie as the next guy. Maybe they could get his brother Lars instead?
- How broke is everyone after the 11.11 sale? Some more Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales are coming up in a couple of weeks too...
- It's that time of year again when Starbucks in the SEA region starts the annual planner collection craze. I'm just glad I'm out of the that game. Also, the local planners this time were underwhelming. At least Singapore had the right idea by having theirs be Moleskines.
- Have I mentioned that schools are closed for the rest of the year? I hate to be the kids with major exams that would definitely be postponed to next year..
- Apparently, bullying incidents have "gone down" compared to last year. Yeah, no shit la.
- Pandemic or not, a new BookXcess opened this week at Tropicana Gardens Mall.
