And just like that, February's done and dusted, today's the last day of the month. Weather still hot as balls.
- This week in cultural appropriation: old fashioned Chinese chamberpots (now in some Chinese wedding hantaran) being sold on Amazon as home decor for white peepur? Ehh?
- Another podcast host going down in flames: Mike Pesca, who hosts Slate's daily podcast The Gist. (You can look it up yourselves to find out what got him in that mess). Will the show be cancelled, or will someone else take over? I'm curious but not altogether invested in the outcome.
- I guess we'll never hear the end of the BA Test Kitchen series because not only the last 2 episodes won't be released, but also Reply All is going on hiatus...? Cis.
- Tried Grab's Grabmart delivery this past week because I wanted to get some discounted CNY cookies on there. It was fine, but I wouldn't use it if I was in a rush. They also left out an item but luckily I got refunded pretty quickly once I alerted Grab CS about it.
- The Don Don Donki at Lot 10 is opening next month. Optimistic, given the pandemic and how the MCO is not lifted...
- Frasier reboot. Yup. I hope Daphne and Niles are still together?
- Potato Head is now gender neutral. Erm, okay la.
