Case numbers are the highest they've ever been and of course it's mostly from the most-populated places and areas (no shit). Weather's been a mixed bag for the most part - too rainy for laundry and also too hot for humans to live at the same time sans air conditioning?
- I dunno if they're gonna do this in Asia, but some American airlines are pondering having to weigh their passengers cos Americans so fat.
- They finally announced the airdate for the amateurs' version of Top Chef... happening after the current season's finale?
- So apparently Lin-Manuel Miranda's pre-Hamilton musical In The Heights is now a movie. I give him props for getting even non-Americans excited about American founding fathers, but a musical about a really specific New York City neighbourhood ah...? It's like if there was a Hollywood musical about say, Jinjang? (feel free to insert random specific neighbourhood) I'm glad he's got the clout now to get this made and all, but as a non-American, am I expected to care?
- So Bull's showrunner is now off the show for toxic work environment allegations. I was more surprised to read that a co-star is also leaving the show (the guy playing Bull's bro-in law/in-house counsel). (I haven't been watching the show since the second season, so ya)
