Took a self declared 3.5 day weekend (had to use up the other half day), in part to get the car serviced (which I didn't even hang around for because it was the "major" service, which was gonna take most of the day - it was there from 9 something in the morning to 3 something in the afternoon - so walked across the LDP to the SMK KJ bus stop to catch the old feeder bus to Pyramid, which I hadn't done in ages. While it was RM1 when I finally tapped out the bus outside Pyramid, but after waiting a couple hours for the return ride (bus didn't even slow down long enough), I finally got a Grab ride back to the service centre to collect the car and it was getting hot as balls.
- Of course Coldplay went and dropped the bombshell this week that they were gonna be back in Singapore to do not one, not two, but FOUR NIGHTS of shows next January, with tickets going on sale on Monday.
- Pat Sajak FINALLY retiring from Wheel of Fortune after so many years. You would think he stick around cos the work schedule is pretty sweet. Dunno if Vanna White is still hanging in there.
- Sigur Ros dropped a new album this week, 7 years since the last one. The video for the sneak track they released was a bit of a mindfuck, I gotta admit.
- RIP, Dad from Everwood, Treat Williams. It's been so long I don't even remember how that show ended, and that's where I first saw Chris Pratt LOL
- The announced the NCIS: Sydney cast this week. I wonder if the writers on that show are considered WGA members...?
- Project Runway is back this week (now that Top Chef is done for the season) with it's 20th season, also the revamped All Stars season and not the seperate show it was back in the day.
