Week 49, 2023

• Chaos happened as people were trying to claim the eMadani funds on Monday. Only went with Setel for reasons you can ask me in person about or over PM/DM.
• No wonder the SOCSO site was on the fritz this week; it apparently got hacked...
• Gee, I cannot imagine why Jerry Seinfeld suddenly want to tour Asia in this day and age. Ya, apparently he's gonna be in Singapore next June. OK lor. 
• You know it's that time of year when McD Prosperity Burger is being trotted out again. But with people kononnya boycotting McDs at the moment, is it enough to change the tide ah? I'm asking as someone who doesn't even like the burger per se. 
• Could finally join the KL Book Appreciation Club in their annual sale preview, because it was on Wednesday night and not in the wee hours of the morning, and it's at Tropicana Gardens Mall, which for once, is not too far from me.
• Never in a million years I would not expect Nelly and Ashanti to be expecting a child together in the year 2023. 
• Two of the new NBC dramas got a second season: Found (which I didn't realise was already out, but MPG is in it as a baddie/victim) and also The Irrational (which I've been watching). Considering that they were lucky to have audiences during the writers and actors strike, yay...
• Dessert Masters crowned a winner, and it wasn't who you would think it might be. I dunno if there's enough people to recruit for another season, but hey. 
• My dad finally experienced what it's like to be stuck in the service centre for half a work day after hearing me complain about it the last time he made me go... I went with him, but I buggered off to Pavilion instead, because I really hate hanging around the service centre if I can help it.
