Books read - Late March edition

After almost (or over) a year since I downloaded it, I finally finished the (unabridged, 9-CD) audio version of Ben Elton' Dead Famous, the man's attempt at a whodunnit murder mystery-cum-pop culture satire set in the confines of a Big Brother-esque "reality" show called House Arrest. With Ben Elton not as prominent as say Stephen King, I couldn't find any spoilers for this and I had to hear through all 9 CDs to get to the end to hear whodunnit. But what the hey, it's engaging enough - I'd read the print version if I ever get my hands on a copy.

Also finished Stephen Colbert's I Am America (And So Can You!) in the last week. Not terribly funny, but I liked the extra touch of the snide remarks/comments in the margins. Glad I didn't pay to read it. (Not that I'd be able to find any here, seeing as no one would know who he is to start with). [Edit: Apparently Kinokuniya has it, but retailing at RM99.70 - WTF]

At the moment had started on another Philippa Gregory book, The Virgin's Lover, which is about Elizabeth I and her relationship with Robert Dudley.
